This is the best roast I’ve eaten! The food was hot, tasty and plentiful! Amazing quality of the produce. The staff were friendly and helpful! I will 100% be returning!

Came for a roast as we have previously eaten food from James who works here and it's always been too notch and have to say, it really didn't disappoint. Top quality roast and the sticky toffee pudding was the best one I have ever eaten. Staff were super friendly and couldn't fault it! Ill deffo be coming back!

We were a group of 9 having a family get together. We all enjoyed the Sunday roast and delicious puddings. Service was excellent, attentive but not pushy. Several people in the group wore hearing aids, and when I asked if they would turn down the music in the room, I was greeted with an 'of course '. It was so helpful and made a massive difference to our get together. So a big thank you for a fabulous meal and great service (especially an understanding regarding the music volume).

The best Sunday roast in Worcestershire? I think not! The best I’ve ever had! We’ve been going here for years but under the last management we started to feel a little disappointed. Lazy onsite leadership and poor food. So we stopped going. However, we decided to give it another try, we’d seen the press about the new incarcerates and felt it was only fair to give them a break, so off we trotted. Well, b ugge r me, what a change, it was buzzing and the food, well, b lood y lovely - not the best locally, the best in the UK! Move over Gordon Ramsey, this is Michelin Star roast dinner a few miles from Malvern!

Absolutely, fantastic! I have a roast at home every Sunday. And I never get a roast out and about, because they just never compare to mine. But! This definitely beat my expectations. The chef James has really taken a lot of time in making this an outstanding experience. The meat was cooked to perfection! we a family of 5 had the chicken, lamb and pork belly options and they were amazing. And the sides were sooo flavourful. My family of 5 will be back! Thanks to all of the Bear and Ragged staff.

Having been going to The bear for many years so good to go back with Rowena front of house and James in the kitchen. I had the Sunday roast with the nut roast vegetarian option, with the fabulous roasted and vegetable sides. The puddings were also amazing. We were so well looked after by the staff and would highly recommend, and will definitely be back.

We had the pleasure of enjoying a Sunday Roast under the new management today. We had the warmest welcome from Rowena and the team and nothing was too much trouble during our visit. The food itself was absolutely delicious, so tasty and cooked perfectly. Even the littlest member of our party (aged 2) said he was finished 10+ times but couldn't resist going back for more! Already looking forward to our next visit as a family. Well done Team!

The service was really good nothing too much trouble very attentive. The food was amazing the lemon sole was lovely , very fresh tasting and presented beautifully. The vegetables were locally scoured and really tasty. Will definitely be back well worth a visit

Very nice pub. Landlord is hilarious. Specials are delicious. We shared a makerel starter (should have had one each), we then had the plaice and the chicken supreme, followed by crumble and an Eton mess. Was very good indeed and good value.

Just turned up on the night as a last minute we decided to go out for dinner and luckily they managed to seat us and an I glad they did! It is a cute little pub and dining area. There is some seating outside for summer weather. I would recommend booking as they are busy. The food was amazing. The plates were warm, the steak cooked perfectly, the chips were lovely and hot and the salad was good. The meals and desserts are home made so of course we had to try. Again we were disappointed. I went for a sticky toffee pudding with rum and rasin ice cream. The only reason I couldn't quite eat it all was I was so full, but it was great. The food portions are generous and will be be returning to try other stuff on the menu.
